Autonomous Vertical Profiler (AVP)

  • Autonomous Vertical Profiler is a small oceanic profiler which belongs to the class of propelled robot vehicles that traverse the water column vertically.
  • The AVP has the ability to dive into the water and hover at the defined points autonomously.
  • The AVP can be loaded with a pre-programmed mission using a Labview based GUI.
  • Various scientific payloads can be interfaced with the AVP as per the customer requirements.

Scope of Application:

  • Measurement of water quality parameters like CTD, DO, Chlorophyll & other parameters in the sea or any water body.
  • Rapid ocean data collection
  • Water quality monitoring in coastal areas
  • Water Column Profiling
